I’ve not been back in Leeds for too long before I stumbled upon a curious mural on my way to the hairdressers. It was big, colourful, a little bit in your face, and definitely new (at least to me). It was only a giant tribute to the re-booted Saint’s Row franchise!
Nintendo’s collection of figures were first revealed at E3 2014 in conjunction with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS (affectionately known as Sm4sh). It’s now almost 10 years later and nearing the end of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate line of amiibo. Pyra and Mythra (Xenoblade Chronicles 2) were a duo of newcomers that didn’t have a large gaming pedigree when compared to other DLC fighters such as Sephiroth, Terry Bogard, or Sora.
Do these maidens deserve to be on your shelf with the gaming greats? Or on the bottom shelf of your DETOLF amongst the other regrettable purchases?
